BHP2009A/BHP2009B Physical Rehab Science A

0.5 credit per semester

This course introduces students to the fields of rehabilitation and therapeutic services, exploring the principles of exercise science, kinesiology, and physical therapy. Students engage in hands-on, lab-based learning to develop skills in therapeutic techniques, movement analysis, and strength training. The curriculum is developed in partnership with the National Strength Professionals Association (NSPA), and students have the opportunity to earn NSPA Personal Trainer Certification upon successful completion of course requirements to ensure students gain relevant, industry-aligned training and preparation for postsecondary study or careers in rehabilitative health sciences.
