Students develop clinical and administrative skills through classroom, lab, and clinical experiences. They learn to assist with procedures, perform EKGs, collect lab specimens, and provide patient education. This course also prepares students to earn the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) exam — a major step toward a healthcare career or college pathway.
