This course is for 11th and 12th graders only. Physics higher level provides students with fundamental understanding of physics, the nature of science, and experience of the associated skills. This course requires students to increase their knowledge and understanding of physics to prepare for further study of physics at the university level. The course provides collaborative science projects for students to develop their understanding. There is one internally assessed work, the scientific investigation. This is the first year of a two year course that prepares students for the higher level IB physics exam at the end of year 2.
